TCW Rules

General

Match Simulation: I will roll the matches using the PBP sim, with only a couple of adjustments to handle certain special rules that the system doesn’t accommodate as-is. I’m looking at you, King Kong Bundy.

Disqualification Rules: Unless the booking dictates otherwise, I’ll be using the roll DQ twice rule. Commissioner Dragon likes to let people fight, you know?

Tag Team Starters: If you want a certain member of your tag teams to start a match, let me know. Otherwise, the accounting firm of DeSicks and Associates will decide who decides for each match.

Shenanigans

Token Allocation: Everyone gets one Shenanigans Token to use for every show. For multi-night shows hosted by the federation, you’ll get a shenanigan token for every night.

Token Usage: Each of your Shenanigans Tokens can be used to do any of the following: A - Add 1 token to a wrestler (pre-match beatdown, cheating during the match, etc.) B - Have a second at ringside interfere (distractor rating 7) C - Prevent ALL shenanigans in a match through the presence of an enforcer of your choice from your roster.

Fatigue

Fatigue Carryover: If a wrestler has multiple matches in a night, he will carry over fatigue tokens from one match to the next.

Additional Fatigue: If a wrestler starts a match having already wrestled, he’ll have an extra token for every 20 minutes he’s already wrestled that night.

Scoring

Title Match Points: Winning a championship is worth 4 points for a world title, 2 points for a US title. Defending those belts are worth 2 and 1 points, respectively.

Special Matches: There will be special matches and events throughout the year that will provide an opportunity for factions to gain or lose points that will be announced as part of each show’s booking.

Annual Awards: There will be end of the year awards that will assign further points, as well (Wrestler of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Event of the Year, and starting in Year Two, Rookie of the Year). These will be determined by a combination of owner voting, media polling, and input from the Commissioner’s Office in equal parts, and will be worth 3 points each.

Faction Champion: The most points at year’s end after the awards wins the John Cena Memorial Trophy as the champion faction, and will get a special reward for the next year.

Fan Voting: Additionally, we’ll have fan voting for the favorite faction for each year (which is basically just all of us voting for a favorite performance), and they’ll get that same special reward for year two.

Booking

Title Defenses: On the shows you book, all four titles (World Heavyweight Championship, US Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Team Championship, and US Tag Team Championship must be defended in single, non-gauntlet matches. You can’t book the champions in other matches without explicit approval of their faction leader.

SURVIVE ANDRE: The Commissioner’s Office has declared that each faction-booked show this year must include a SURVIVE ANDRE challenge. You will select a single wrestler to face Andre the Giant. If your choice wins, you’ll get 3 points. If he loses in less than five minutes, you will LOSE 3 points. If you choose a champion of yours, he will also have to defend that belt on the same card, per the above rule.

Creative Match Booking: Additionally, you can book any match you want for the card to hand out 3 points. Get creative with it! The only requirement is that you can’t be the ONLY faction with a chance to win the points.

Match Perticipants: Matches must only have two sides - no triple threats or higher.

Match Rules: Matches must either be standard rules, no DQ, cage, or torture chamber, best two of three falls, or last man standing matches.

Injuries

Injury Consequences: If a match ends in doubles, the loser suffers an injury for 1d3+1 months. If he is a champion, he will be required to wrestle, but if not, you can put him on the inactive list to avoid bookings.

Injury Penalties: An injured wrestler can still fight, but will add 2 tokens at the start of each match.

Re-Injury Penalties: If a currently injured wrestler is injured again in a match, he will have an additional 1d3+1 months added to his injury time and be completely ineligible to be booked in that time. In the case of a champion suffering this fate, he will be forced to vacate his title (or titles, in case of a team), and a championship match will be booked on the next card.

Offseason Injury Recovery: November and December of each year, the offseason, count as 2 months for the purpose of injuries.

Salaries and Roster Construction

Salary Cap: Each roster has a salary cap of 27.

Minimum Roster Size: Each roster must have at least 8 wrestlers.

Starting Salary: A wrestler's starting salary will be determined by vote of the faction leaders when they enter TCW.

Salary Increase: A wrestler's salary will increase by 1 at the end of each year he was on a team.

Salary Decrease: If a wrestler does not participate for a year, his salary decreases. If his salary was above its base, it returns to its base. If his salary was at its base, it decreases by one.

Retirement: If a wrestler is not drafted for two consecutive years, they retire and are removed from the pool of available wrestlers.
