7th Sea, if you've never played it, is a great swashbuckling RPG system that involves rolling big handfuls of ten-siders and keeping some number of them to get your total. Additionally, the dice can "explode," meaning your tens count as tens and you also roll them again, adding the second roll to the first. The explosions can chain, leading to some truly awesome moments of heroic excellence that you can't get out of a system like D&D.
When I was playing it regularly, I wanted a better way than guessing to figure out whether or not i liked my odds on a roll, so this page was born. It shows your averages, the outliers, and the standard deviation over the course of 500 rolls, which is enough to get close to the data we're looking for.
